How long have you been with Bayside BMX Club?

Since early 2017 when my boy Mitch joined.

What made you join the club?

We had been going to the club for over 12mths and realised we had a few connections with existing members. I also decided to give BMX a go at last year’s Ladies night and instantly fell in love and started myself. I didn’t learn to ride a bike until I was 10, and had rarely ever ridden, but once I felt the rush of riding down the start hill and rounding the berms, I was hooked.

What do you drink?

I’m not a big drinker, but when I do it’s either PIMMs and Soda, Prosecco Spritz or Apple Cider…and on a stinking hot day a cold beer.

 How many BMX riders does it take to change a lightbulb?

Odd question.

What is the one word you would use to associate with Bayside BMX Club?

Fun!

 What bike do you race with?

Our family all ride GT Speeds…. mine’s a Cruiser.

 What (if any) is the significance of your race plate number?

76…year of birth.

 Do you have a racing superstition/ ritual?

Nope.

 Have you broken any bone in BMX?

No, but gave it a good hard go last year, but that won’t stop me!
